Belgrade, Serbia– The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia, Mme. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, concluded a successful official visit to the Republic of Serbia, where she held high-level bilateral talks with H.E. Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, H.E. Marko Đurić, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Dejan Vuk Stanković, Minister of Education, H.E. Zoran Gajić, Minister of Sports of Serbia and Mr. Vladimir Orlic, Director of the Security Information Agency of Serbia. 

The visit marked a step in strengthening Liberia–Serbia relations. The visit was sparked by an invitation from Serbia to the Minister of Foreign Affairs to finalize an agreement for Liberia’s participation in the upcoming EXPO 2027 which will be hosted by Serbia.

Minister Nyanti described the visit as a “successful and encouraging,” emphasizing that these renewed commitments represent not only goodwill but also actionable partnerships that will deliver tangible benefits for the people of Liberia.

Both governments reaffirmed their commitment to sustained dialogue and regular high-level engagements, ensuring that these agreements are fully implemented and contribute to shared prosperity, youth empowerment, and strengthened global cooperation.
