Monrovia, Liberia: The Ministry of National Defense has announced a major nationwide recruitment drive for the Armed Forces of Liberia.
Speaking at the Ministry of Information regular press briefing, Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Defense , Dr. Augustine T Larmin, disclosed the decision aims to strengthen the AFL’s manpower, professionalism, and readiness to meet Liberia’s evolving security challenges.
The recruitment will be conducted across all 15 counties, giving Liberians nationwide equal opportunities to serve. Entry standards will include educational, physical fitness, and moral requirements, with officials stressing that the process will be transparent and merit-based.
The recruitment initiative is designed to align with Liberia’s National Security Strategy, ensuring that staffing levels meet monitoring and Operational needs. The exercise will also Promote Gender Representation within the force.
