Joyquiken Town, River Gee County – Representative I.B. Choloply Wou has officially broken ground for the construction of a Youth and Multipurpose Center in Joyquiken, a $30,000 initiative aimed at creating a safe and engaging space for youth development and community activities.
The groundbreaking ceremony, held recently in Joyquiken, drew the participation of government officials, local leaders, and community members, all expressing strong support for the project.
The center, once completed, will serve as a hub for education, recreation, and vocational skills training. It is expected to benefit not only residents of Joyquiken but also surrounding towns and villages, providing opportunities that foster empowerment and community growth.
Construction is set to begin immediately, with completion projected within the coming months.
