‎Monrovia- Montserrado County District #3 Representative Hon. Sumo Mulbah has warned his Colleagues to stopped visiting Concession area. He made this comment in response to Nimba County Senator Nya Twayen recent Facebook post.

‎Although I’m not from the Senate, this issue affects both houses. As lawmakers, it’s crucial that we understand our roles and responsibilities, and follow legislative procedures that align with the public policy process.

‎Within public policy circles, lawmakers are generally discouraged from visiting concession sites, particularly when the sites are owned or operated by entities with business interests before the legislature or significant donors, as this can lead to conflicts of interest, appearances of impropriety, and a decline in public trust.

‎Such visits can create the perception that lawmakers are swayed by special interests rather than acting solely in the public’s best interest.
