Speaking during a simulcast interview on Super Bongese Radio on Saturday, October 11, 2025, Superintendent Norris emphasized that all infrastructure projects must meet national standards and follow proper procedures. She described the blueprint as a key instrument to ensure transparency, accountability, and safety in public works.

“Without a blueprint, there will be no bridge construction,” Madam Norris declared. “The public deserves to know what is being built and to be assured that it aligns with the standards set by the Ministry of Public Works.”

Her remarks come in response to the CMC’s recent groundbreaking ceremony for a bridge over the Jor River in the Civil Compound Community. The event was led by the political leader of the CMC, Mr. Musa Hassan Bility, alongside Bong County Electoral District #3 Representative Josiah Marvin Cole.

Superintendent Norris’s statement serves as a reminder of the government’s stance on regulatory compliance and the need for coordination between community initiatives and state institutions. She maintained that while development efforts are welcomed, they must be done within the framework of national laws and approved guidelines.

This development has sparked discussions among residents and stakeholders about the importance of following proper procedures in local development projects, particularly those involving public infrastructure.

Bong County Superintendent Madam Loleyah Hawa Norris has issued a strong warning to the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC), stating that the group will not be permitted to carry out any bridge construction without first obtaining an approved blueprint from the Ministry of Public Works.
