Bong, County– Bong County Gender Coordinator threatened to file a lawsuit against journalists in Bong County, citing recent media reports linking her to the Kokoyah-Dementa Community Hall project saga.
Madam Musu N. Mulbah made the remarks on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at a community resolution meeting held under the auspices of Bong County Senator Prince Kermue Moye.
Madam Mulbah expressed her discontent with the way she has been portrayed in the media, particularly in reports suggesting her involvement in the alleged mismanagement of funds allocated for the construction of the community hall.
According to Madam Mulbah, the media reports have caused her significant emotional distress and damaged her reputation in the community.
“I will be the first woman in Bong County to sue journalists for defamation,” Madam Mulbah declared.
“ I will not allow anyone to tarnish my reputation without a fight. I demand an apology from the journalists and media outlets that have published these false stories.”
The Kokoyah-Dementa Community Hall project has been mired in controversy, with allegations of corruption and mismanagement of funds.
